Security Screening

All passengers, crew and staff undergo a compulsory security screening process before boarding or when entering the airport’s sterile areas. For your safety, KMIII International Airport Aviation Security applies the “No Search, No Fly” principle.

Restriction on Liquids, Aerosols and Gels (LAGs)

All liquids, aerosols and gels are restricted to 100ml, and should not exceed 1 litre per passenger. These should be placed in a transparent resealable plastic bag and shall be screened separately from other carry-on luggage.
Liquids, aerosols and gels include;

(i) Water and other drinks
(ii) Syrups
(iii) Creams, lotions and oils
(iv) Perfumes and Sprays
(v) Gels including hair and shower gels
(vi) Pressurized containers such as shaving foam and deodorants
(vii) Pastes including, petroleum jelly and eye shadow.

Eswatini Revenue Authority (ERA)

All departing passengers travelling with cash exceeding E15, 000 are required to declare funds at the Eswatini Revenue Authority (ERA) counter. Failure to do so will result to a fine. For more information visit www.era.co.sz or call +268 2333 5122

Restricted Articles/Items

The following items are restricted at KMIII International Airport sterile areas:
(i) Firearms and weapons
(ii) Pointed edged objects
(iii) Blunt instruments
(iv) Explosives and flammable substances
(v) Chemical and toxic substances.

Passport control

– Valid passport or travel document
– Valid visa or entry permit
– Visa on arrival memorandum

Port Health requirements

– All arriving passengers should fill the disease surveillance form
– Travelers arriving/ departing to countries with yellow fever risk should produce yellow fever certificate

Checked or hold baggage

Hand and cabin baggage: Each passenger may carry without additional charges hand baggage suitable for placement in the closed overhead rack or under the passenger’s seat with maximum dimensions specified by the carrier subject to space availability.
