KMIII International Airport is Eswatini’s international airport. Initially named Sikhuphe International Airport in the planning and construction phase, the airport is located in Sikhuphe, 50 KMs from the country’s largest city Manzini. KMIII International Airport started its operations in September 2014 and all commercial flights operations were moved from Matsapha Airport to KMIII International Airport. Matsapha Airport now handles VIP and Mercy flights.
KMIII International Airport is a modern facility built according to international standards. The airport has the capacity to accommodate large aircraft and long haul flight operations that connects Eswatini directly to the world. The terminal building is a state of the art multi-storey building with a gross space of 6,500 m². The airport is operated by the Eswatini Civil Aviation Authority (ESWACAA).
